Anika loves art more than any other subject!  She loves to draw and paint pictures of anything she sees. Her desk is filled with colored pencils, markers, crayons, and paints. Anika always carries a sketchbook with her to draw during recess. She draws her friends playing on the swings and sliding down the slide. Anika can make amazing artwork just using sticks, leaves, and rocks on the playground. Her teachers are impressed with her creativity and almost always put her work on display.

During art time, the other students crowd around Anika’s desk to see her work. They think she draws the prettiest pictures they have ever seen!  Anika feels very proud when her classmates ask her to draw something for them.  She wants to be an artist when she grows up!
