Maya is a gymnast with a big heart who loves to build people up. She has been doing gymnastics since age 5 and last year won first place on the balance beam at the state championships. Her dream is to compete in the Olympics someday.

When Maya is not at the gym, she makes sure to help others and make them feel good. When new students arrive, she is the first to introduce herself and make them feel welcome. She goes out of her way to include everyone.

Maya also pays sincere compliments, noticing small things that make people feel seen and appreciated. A simple “cool shoes!” from Maya can make someone’s day. She is a champion on and off the gymnastics mat!
